Hello!
My name is Parisha Patel, mostly known as Pari and I am a fully qualified Architect in the UK (ARB), a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and I am a WELL Accredited Professional. Outside of architecture, I endeavour in personal training, drone photography and videography.
As a bit of a background, I was born in the UK but grew up in Southern-Central Africa in Zambia until I returned to the UK for my tertiary education. I completed my undergraduate degree in architecture at the Welsh School of Architecture (Cardiff University) in 2018 and continued on to study my Master's degree in architecture where I spent the first year working at a design firm called LOT-EK in New York City, USA, before returning to Cardiff for my final year of Master's (completed in 2020). Upon completing my Master's degree, I worked at Scott Brownrigg from 2021 to 2025 during which time I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture (PgDip Arch).
I have worked on a range of projects of varying sizes and complexity, in different sectors, both at LOT-EK and Scott Brownrigg. The sectors I have worked in include Masterplanning, Residential/Mixed-use, Commercial, Defence, Business space, Advanced technologies, Digital, culture, media and sports, and Event/Exhibition space.
Outside of the studio, I have interests in swimming, golf, cricket, running, travelling, hiking, photography, board games and pool. Most Sundays over the summer months, you can find me playing cricket with my teammates at UOHCC with whom I have won both the Bowling trophy and Golf trophy for two consecutive seasons (2022 and 2023).
I have a particular interest in design for health and well-being and I thrive in environments where I am continuously learning. I have recently earned my WELL AP credentials (April 2024).
This website gives an overview of the majority of my work carried out during my studies at university along with other various aspects of my experience. The links below lead to digital versions of my Graduate Portfolio and Selected Works Portfolio.
